Special mention for 'Contributions to a Better Cultural Understanding among Nations'

On 24 April, the German Embassy received a "special mention" for '2017 Contribution to a Better Cultural Understanding among Nations Accredited to the Court of St James’s' at the Tata DIPLOMAT magazine 2017 awards.

The Tata DIPLOMAT magazine 2017 annual Awards Ceremony took place in London, with ten awards presented to Ambassadors and High Commissioners.

The award for 'Contribution to a Better Cultural Understanding among Nations Accredited to the Court of St James’s' went to EUNIC, the European Union National Institutes of Culture. 

In the same category, the German Ambassador Dr Peter Ammon and his wife Marliese Heimann-Ammon received a special mention for their cultural events. "This motivates us to continue our work to foster intercultural dialogue through culture", said Marliese Heimann-Ammon on stage.
