German Symposium 2017: Risking Transition

On 28 February, Ambassador Peter Ammon opened this year’s German Symposium, an annual event across several days hosted by the German Society of the London School of Economics. This year’s guest speakers include Christian Schmidt, German Minister of Food and Agriculture and Johannes Beerman, Member of the Executive Board of the German Federal Bank.

Under the motto “Risking Transition”, attendees will be able to listen to speeches and discussion panels featuring renowned economists, politicians and academics as they examine a variety of current affair topics from the point of view of transition, and the opportunities involved.

Annual German Symposium of the LSESU German Society

This year's German Symposium organised by the German Society of the LSE Student Union will take place from 28 February – 2 March under the motto "Risking Transition". The symposium features keynote speeches, discussion panels by renowned economists, politicians and academics.
