Two Faces exhibition

On 26 July, Ambassador Peter Ammon and his wife Marliese hosted the vernissage of a new exhibition at their residence in 34 Belgrave Square. The exhibition is called Two Faces and shows the works of Frances Blane and Darin Ahmad.

London born artist Blane and the Syrian born Berlin based Ahmad both come with a family background of migration. Blane’s father escaped from Hungary late in the 1930s and found asylum in Britain, whereas Ahmad fled the Syria war and found a new home in Germany.

Both the artists were present on the night and took the guests through a tour of their works.
