On 4 July, Ambassador Ammon visited Salisbury where he spoke on 'Britain, Germany and the future of Europe' following a tour of former Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath's home Arundells, who, during his time in office, successfully negotiated the United Kingdom’s entrance to the European Economic Community (EEC).
Ambassador Ammon also spoke to A-Level politics students at Bishop Wordsworth's School and answered their numerous questions on a range of topics.
The Ambassador's trip culminated in a tour of Salisbury Cathedral and a viewing of the magnificent Magna Carta.
